- 1 cup butter, softened
- 2 cups sugar
- 4 eggs
- 1½ cans cream style corn
- 1 cup Monterey jack cheese (shredded)
- 1 cup cheddar cheese (shredded)
- 1 cup flour
- 1 cup white cornmeal
- ½ tsp salt
- 4 t baking powder
Cream together butter and sugar. Add eggs one at a time. Then add corn, cheeses, cornmeal, flour, salt and baking powder.
Put mixture into a greased 13 x 9 pan. Bake for one hour at 325°.
Yellow cornmeal will work too, but we tested with white.
