Let’s face it, sometimes writing a thank you note can be challenging because we have difficulty putting our gratitude into words. Perhaps you’ve spent a weekend at a friend’s vacation home or attended a fabulous party that your hosts obviously worked hard to create a memorable event for all. If you are looking for an inspired way to convey sufficient thanks, why not let a picture (or a few) say a thousand words?
I discovered that Walgreens.com‘s photo site allows you to create a single folded photo card with loads of options and same-day service. No doubt other providers have followed suit, but my Walgreens is a mere mile from my home, which makes nearly instant gratification possible. Plus, I’ve never failed to find a coupon code which reduces the card price to about $2. Not bad!
Plan ahead when you want to create a small keepsake to properly thank your hosts’ for their gracious hospitality.
Snap a few pictures of the setting and activities during the event (but don’t get so obsessed with picture-taking that you’re not all-in the event and missing the moment.) When you get home, upload the photos to the site of your choice and create away. It’s like making a mini-memory photo book that your hosts are sure to appreciate. You may even want to print a few extra copies of the card for yourself and the other guests as a clever way to remember the event that’s a bit more private than Facebook.
