February 24, 2013
As February winds down, we have been working hard to feel warm and think warm. Fortunately we had the Spring CAbi show to keep us focused on warmer days ahead. In the meantime, we hope that this week’s posts helped get you through the cold winds and damp days.
Monday – If you can reach the endorphine high that Ellen described in Keep Moving, Part 2, you don’t need to worry about being warm because you are already hot.
Tuesday – we introduced Menu for a Dinner Ministry to help you cook up a hot meal to warm the recipient and family as much as yourself. We want to share other Dinner Ministry menus with the posse. Please share your tried and trues with us so we can spread the joy that comes from feeding others.
Wednesday – Cold Days and Warm Bread provides a way to warm your body and soul with this healthy homemade recipe which would also make a much appreciated addition to any Dinner Ministry Menu.
Thursday – A Gracious Home Refreshed for Spring features a warm and welcoming home that feels like sunshine.
Friday – Just Like Us, Chez Foushee Keeps Getting Better with Age reminds you of a warm and cozy dining spot in RVA’s newly hot theatre district.
Saturday – A Serendipitous Selection for the Junior League of Richmond’s 68th Annual Book & Author Dinner shared a list of new books to read snuggled by the fire (or, if you are lucky, on the beach for Spring Break). I’d be happy to be snuggled by any of these fires:
Which one of these would you like to be snuggled next to with a good book?
We hope that you found something to get you through the end of this long winter month. How do you survive February? Got any tips to share with our posse? We love hearing from you, so please keep you comments and emails coming. They warm us up even more than a blazing fire.
