Looking for a little something different for the holidays? Whether you seek a unique gift or a one-off evening in RVA, we have a couple of suggestions that are sure to bring the mirth. Both promise a quirky good time for you and your posse, but you need to act fast.
A Quirky Christmas
Come join the quirky fun at Richmond’s most popular hotel for Quirky cocktails, Quirky shopping and even some Quirky wrapping. I’ll be helping with the latter department. Vendors include Nellie George, Collared Greens, Michael S. Godin MD, PLC, Vitality Float Spa, Papeterie Stationery and Gifts, Tracery 157 LLC, and more. Why not round up your posse and meet me downtown for a A Quirky Christmas?
Ladies Night Out: An Evening with Julia Reed
One of my favorite living Southern authors is coming to town in February for a Ladies Night Out at St. Stephen’s Church. The irreverent Julia Reed’s columns never fail to leave me chuckling, so for Christmas I’ve bought myself a copy of her latest book, Julia Reed’s South: Spirited Entertaining and High-Style Fun All Year Long. I can’t wait for a post-Christmas curl up by the fire to immerse myself in her words, get inspired to up my entertaining game and prepare for her visit.Tickets are going fast for this dinner and are only available at the church. You’re going to want to share this evening with your posse, so get them organized and buying now if you don’t want to be left out come February 16th. A ticket to it sure would make a fabulous present for a friend, too. Get all the details here.
Now you’ve got two quirky evenings to put on your calendar. Who knows what you’ll discover at each of them. I can’t wait to see you there!
