Last October, The Gracious Posse hosted ThinkPink, a girls night out shopping event to raise money for the Susan G. Komen organization. Thanks to the generosity of these wonderful vendors,Sunny Goode Huger Embrodiery ~ Sarah Gibson Wiley The Classic Baby Becky Jesse One Thing at a Time Lori Daniel Rowland ~ Original Hand Beaded and Hand Picked Jewelry Dana Gibson Stella & Dot Jeanette McKittrick Stephanie Ruffin ~ Whimsical and Unique Decoupaged Gifts & Tags Good Sport Designs by Barb Yorgen Zinger Fit
we were able to raise over $4,000. It was a fabulous night that we hope to recreate in the future, but we don’t want to turn this shopping event into an annual obligation like so many other fundraisers that all of us are committed to attending every year.
This year we are inspired by the uber-successful ALS Ice Bucket Challenge. Don’t worry, though, about making a video or ruining your hair. Taking the Think Pink Challenge is designed to be fun, easy and viral. We hope you will ~
Photograph yourself (alone or with others) wearing, doing or otherwise Thinking Pink.
Instagram or Facebook the photo a #ThinkPink tag along with @thegraciousposse (for Instagram) or mention The Gracious Posse on Facebook.
Next make a $5+ donation to The Gracious Posse Think Pink Challenge (part of the Susan G. Komen Passionately Pink fund-raising site).
Kindly help us spread the #ThinkPink word to support breast cancer research, health outreach and cure. Let’s see how much money our posse can graciously raise to help make hearing the words you have breast cancer a thing of the past!
