This year frigid winter weather and my neighboring herd of deer have conspired to leave me hydrangea-less. Ellen hasn’t made out much better. If your bushes have survived our nemeses and are filled with mature blossoms, now is the perfect time to harvest this Favorite Summertime Companion for long-lasting blooms that will dry into a long-lasting fall accent.
Even if Ellen and I are bereft of our own blooms, pictures of beautiful hydrangeas help sustain us.
We practically swooned when we saw the pictures from this hydrangea-focused wedding.
mEl of Fleur de Vie Houston created these divine bouquets and arrangements for a recent wedding in Houston.
The hydrangeas are such a classic that the lucky bride and groom’s wedding pictures should never feel dated.
We’ll be adding some of these pictures to our Wonderful Weddings Pinterest board.
The look is so timeless that even if Ellen and I have to wait a long time until we are planning weddings for our own families, I am certain we will still be smitten with mEl’s blue and white hydrangea designs.
