With four weeks to go, we are looking forward to re-living the excitement of the Royal Wedding. Two years ago, we embraced the Royal theme from the flowers to the food and loved celebrating this world-wide event with our posse.
This time, though, our celebration will have a tangible purpose, and we encourage you to do the same with your posse!
Are you ready to embrace this theme and host your own Royal Baby Shower benefit? If so, we are glad to help you pull it off. Start with the invitation. You can download this template
on scrbd.com. If your Adobe Reader is up-to-date, you should be able to Add Text with all of your party details. If you have any trouble, contact us, and we will help you put the invitation together. The template has been made so that you can create two invitations from one 8½” x 11″ card stock sheet and simply cut it in half after printing. This paper and 5-3/4″ x 8-3/4″ A9 envelopes are available at Staples and other office supply stores.
If you want to create your own invitation, here is the clip art rattle that you might like to add.
to serve as a resource to parents and families who are unprepared for parenting and desire to move beyond their current circumstances to achieve God’s plan and purpose in their lives and the lives of their children through spiritual, practical, and material assistance.
The PRC is an affiliate of Care Net. With over 1,100 other affiliates, you should be able to find a nearby organization that helps those in need prepare for life with a newborn. Your church or synagogue may have some ideas for possible beneficiaries as well.
While life for those facing an unplanned pregnancy sounds very heavy, we want you to have fun with us hosting a benefit shower or attending ours! Let us know what you are doing, so we can share with others. It has been a long time since we have thrown a baby shower, so all ideas are welcome for making this a fun and meaningful event.
In the meantime, we’ll provide gift-giving ideas next week.
